We explored winter this week, looking for tracks in the snow outside, making tracks with paint and different items.
We have an opportunity to explore "over the snow and under the snow" with a book and some white fluffy cloth.
The book is Over and Under the Snow by Kate Messner.
AND we went over and under a mat with our bodies.........
Our crystal experiment came about as the result of a child asking "can we make icicles?" We had a discussion, at morning meeting, and heard the words "drip" "water" "melt" and "ice" and so we have a sense that the children know how icicles happen. This experiment will show us a little different way for crystals to form, but it sure can be exciting to try something new!
look at these listeners!
