We came back from vacation and jumped right into a celebratory week for
Week of the Young Child!
Thanks to our awesome families, we were able to share baby pictures that showed how much we've grown, broadcast from some awesome forts, and share a love of pancake breakfasts. We told the children every day that they mattered the most to us!
GUESS WHO?
There were forts made from couch cushions, pillows, beds, chairs, and horses! One fort was "broken" as we were sharing, and one fort was constructed as we shared.
(I took a screen shot but it doesn't do our view justice!)
Week of the Young Child!
Thanks to our awesome families, we were able to share baby pictures that showed how much we've grown, broadcast from some awesome forts, and share a love of pancake breakfasts. We told the children every day that they mattered the most to us!
GUESS WHO?
The children were given the opportunity to tell us how they know that they've grown. Here's what we heard!
I know I've grown because.....
My arms are longer
I eat strong foods
I sleep
I turned 4!
I can reach more things
Eating helps you grow!
My baby clothes don't fit.
I'm 4 now.
I can ride my scooter really fast.
On "fort" day, the children turned up in all sorts of forts!
There were forts made from couch cushions, pillows, beds, chairs, and horses! One fort was "broken" as we were sharing, and one fort was constructed as we shared.
We celebrate with all of you the joy of learning and connection that is a hallmark of our community. Thank you!
Michele
